🖤 Would you watch a play where the main characters are played by multiple actors, and the stage is split in two—one exposed, one veiled?
I had difficulty falling asleep after watching Sight Lines Productions’ The Pillowman—but that’s a good thing. Martin McDonagh’s dark, twisted script is already intense, but this staging adds even more layers: fractured roles, surreal visuals, and questions about storytelling that linger long after curtain call.
In my review, I reflect on how this ambitious production aligns with Sight Lines’ murder-themed experiences and why, in a world of constant storytelling, The Pillowman hits harder than ever.
