We had a chance to sample the ultra efficient Octavia Combi on a recent drive up to Kuala Lumpur. The facelifted Octavia now sports a 1.5-litre four banger, but is still Category A compliant.

It easily swallowed all of our baggage, and managed to do the round trip (1,070+ kilometres), including some horrendous jams in and around the KLCC region on just one tank plus 10 additional litres of fuel!
