The ability to be in the moment.
This is what I enjoy most whenever I share a meal with my teenage daughter. Just the sheer joy of watching her savour the dishes in front of her.
No pictures of her eating. She absolutely forbids it.
AND... she won't eat it if it's not to her liking. Not picky. Just does not feel the need to bend her will for the sake of others. I like that in her.
Before March runs out. I want to salute this spirit of hers. To celebrate the strong young woman she has become and her current philosophy.
Indulge in the simplicity of food you enjoy. Don't swear the small stuff...
