CHEAP THRILLS in Bangkok you’ll love!!😍

Missing our trip so much… Collating all our memories and things (together with the locations) in this post that you must go when you’re there🫶🏻✨Especially for the food, a lot of them we tried aren’t even in recommend places to go, so we hope that you’ll love them!!

CNY WAS TOO MUCH FUN🍊🍊 My fav time of the year, it’s not just use Chinese but everyone coming together too (see last pic)!!

As I grow up, I value the importance of tradition even more..🥹 CNY remains the most important occasion for generations of families to reunite and spend time together. I cherish every meetup with family, relatives, friends and everyone during the last 15 days🧡 Looking forward to more!!

Here’s to a beautiful year together filled with happiness, health and huatz! May we all achieve our goals we set for ourselves whilst spending more time with people we love.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone for being part of my life✨A lot of memories, lemme pen some of the precious memories from 2024! Swipe to the last one to the weight I gained this year LOL, I’ll promise to lose my fats😅

Photo 1: 2025 Countdown at Woodlands Stadium was INCREDIBLE!! THOUSANDS GATHERING, what a way to start the year!

Photo 2: I got to host not once but twice for SM last year! A huge honour!!☀️Thank you SM for working for hard for this country and creating an environment for us to pursue our dreams. ITS SG60 this year!

Photo 3 and 4: CHOA CHU KANG HUAT AHHH!! Always a joy hosting here, it’s where I grew up and started community work! Always grateful for adviser .wee for taking time to nurture us and believing in us. DON play play, WEE HAPPY!!🫡

I lost my girl this year on 22 Oct… I have so much regrets, how I didn’t spend enough time with her and could have give her better vet care.. She was there always with me, especially at my lowest. I love you so much Peppy and learnt so much from you…

Melaka IS SO AMAZING and also Merry Christmas everyone✨🎄🎅🏻!! We ate all the delicious local food (chicken rice ball, Nonya food and Bak K*t teh), visited the zoo and with Hotel and the coach it’s all less than $400 for the 3 of us! As we get older too, nothing beats having protected and cherished time with our loved ones🥹

Since I was young, I love arts so much and this painting was drawn by me when I was in primary 1!☀️

As I grew up, my love for arts continued to grow, and I found myself loving to play the piano and singing with friends! Though not the best in arts, I get inspired daily and appreciate arts a lot!✨ Music, arts and crafts, dances and performances and so much more… it has allowed me to connect with soooo many people and gives me inspiration daily for my creative works!

When I came to know of ArtsEverywhere@CDC, I loved everything about it, bringing everything together that I loved since young. If you’re an arts lover too, do join us this Saturday on 5 October, 5.30pm to 9.30pm. I’ll be there too, at the hardcourt beside Yew Tee MRT station!💛

Art brings people together, and let’s have an amazing time together on Saturday!

Here’s another exciting FREE program you got to join us tomorrow 7 Sep!! ArtsEveryWhere@CDC is happening at Toa Payoh HDB Hub Atrium (see last pic for more details)!

Enjoy lots of free art performances and activities, as well as exciting crafts and lifestyle products. I’ll be there tomorrow too to film!💛

Here are some of the program lineups to expect!
12 - 8pm: Central SG CDC x Playpan Creator Market! Shop for artisanal crafts, accessories and lifestyle products from local creatives.
1 & 3pm: The Purple Symphony performance! Comprising musicians with and without disabilities, we can sing together to familiar songs from SG’s largest inclusive orchestra!
And and... Mayor will be joining us tomorrow too!

ArtsEveryWhere@CDC is a national effort by the National Arts Council Singapore, People’s association and five Community Development Councils. It brings us closer together, at the same time appreciate the arts!

WOOHOOO CCK AND Yew Tee friends🎉☀️ First and last mile connectivity improved so much now with the launch of the cycling paths!

With DPM speech yesterday (scroll to see the last photo cute of DPM riding!!🥹), 11km of cycling path network was added to our neighbourhood, making commute easier by cycling!🚲 More than 300 bicycle parking lots are now added at CCK MRT, Keat Hong, Phoenix, South View, and Teck Whye LRT stations! has also widened 22 pedestrian crossings and implemented three new bicycle crossings in Choa Chu Kang and Yew Tee. 10 bus stops in the vicinity were upgraded to channel cyclists to ride behind the bus stops for the safety of path users.

Even more amazing news!!🤩 By 2030, LTA will expand the cycling path networks to all towns with a target of around 1,300km of cycling paths! Time to ditch our vehicles for a healthier body and greener future!

July has been really packed, but also filled with so many beautiful memories🩵 Will always be grateful.

Leaving some memories here to remember too, the last pic was a huge surprise to me🥹

1. Had a lovely 7th anniversary celebration with Glyph! Love the cause so much, giving every child an opportunity to grow up with proper education.
2. Appreciate you, Don, so much… for always caring and taking time to sit with us, helping us to grow.✨And Dr Hing too! With all his credentials, he still finds time to give back and lead Team Singapore, it’s really inspiring.
3. Met PAPA SM (finally)! No need to say much everyone loves him!
4. Kaki Bukit residents, so much fun running around with the children! Also, together with the Funco buddiesss! Always sooo much fun with y’all.
5. World YMCA turns 180!!!🤩🤩 Thank you for treating me like family from the very first time we met. I’m so excited for this, and huge respect for championing all the inclusive events for youths!
6. Kekeke my kakis since I was in uni!! 6 YEARS ALREADY WE ARE 朋友, literally always giving me energy drinks when I was studying.. So happy we’re finally embarking on something big and definitely funny!!
7. Created a brand new TikTok account for this shopping centre and first video already got >20k views! You don’t need to have followers to build your community!
8. JUST DO ITTTT. Been using the Pegasus 36 for 3 years and finally upgraded to the 41🏃🏻‍♂️
9. So excited already for NDP next month (tomorrow). Aiyo so nice the poster!

My life has been full of so many failures…

Losing my life savings of 6 figures twice restarting from nothing, giving up everything I had for painful relationships in the past, losing people dear to me upon their deaths (I failed to appreciate them properly when they were alive), being flooded with su***de thoughts, ashamed to go to school because of my obesity yet when I finally when I lost so much weight I had to battle against severe eczema that always kept my skin bleeding… Life is so painful at times.

Yet, we also have my our fair share of joy in life! I remember clinching many significant awards, being presented with the highest awards in army (OCS and Guards) in my cadet days, making numerous appearances in local news, receiving awards from ministers for community works… I felt really appreciated receiving them. I also have an immensely caring and blessed family. It’s important that through the times we feel so low, we also remember that we have our very own achievements. We cannot lose sight of our happiness for momentary sadness.

My point is… it’s totally okay to fail, it’s okay to lose everything. YOU SHOULD FAIL SO HARD, so you learn harder…

Our lives can be rebuilt, stronger than before, as long as we never make those mistakes again. It’s through these darkest and most painful you find out your life’s purpose and who you are✨💛

Keep shining you beautiful people, you’re meant for greatness in this world🫶🏻

Our fun photoshoot turned out into memories I cherish so much✨

Concetualised this shoot to capture the joy of going through life together💛 Cheeky baby girl Rou wasn’t meant to be in the photos but she really wanted to be in them, so we tweaked them the shoot and the photos turned out incredibly beautiful… So thankful how close I am to her😭😭 The last photo really melted my heart.🥹

I’ve been using .sg for 6 months now and they are so comfortable and light. Loving them so much that when we were thinking of a couple shoe I knew instantly what to get.
