We are Very

We are Very ideas. projects. documentaries. We are very curious by nature and we are very committed to the work we create.

We thrive in the world of stories and we work very hard to do justice to the stories we take under our wings. Going on 17, we have collaborated with both local and international broadcasters. And, we are constantly challenging ourselves with bigger visions and creative experimentations. At the heart of it all, we are driven by the insatiable desire to produce content that is inspiring, thought pro

voking and relevant to our times. In 2018, Butterfly Children launched on Channel NewsAsia and we are very happy it went on to become the most-watched documentary on the broadcaster’s video-on-demand page then. But more than viewership, what touched us very much as producers was the sizeable outpouring of help and assistance from the public to the families featured in the documentary. Next to launch after Butterfly Children was Super Octogenarians - a unique series which paired 8 photographers with 8 octogenarians for a wonderful photographic collaboration titled “ Never too old”. Most recently, we completed A Frame in Time and Chasing Scarcity. A Frame in Time was our experimentation interweaving fiction and non- fiction story telling inspired by iconic paintings from the treasure troves of The National Gallery, Singapore. Chasing Scarcity was an exercise in the abundance mindset. Helmed by Aaron Maniam, the series saw Aaron traveling to communities as polar opposites as day and night (case in point nomadic Mongolia and digital savvy Estonia) to unearth meaningful solutions to this age old problem of scarcity.
