COCKROACH: THE UNWANTED GUEST THAT REFUSES TO DIE

When you see a cockroach?

You scream.
You grab a slipper.
You chase it like it’s the devil himself.
Because in many homes, its presence = filth, fear, and disgust.

But what if I told you…

That the same insect we panic over—
Was created by God with a unique purpose… and unmatched resilience?

Let’s take a closer look at the survivor we love to hate:

✅ COCKROACHES WERE DESIGNED TO ENDURE.

Since the time of Creation, they’ve adapted to all sorts of environments.
From forests to cities, dry deserts to humid kitchens—
They don’t just survive. They persist.

Lesson?
You may feel forgotten… but you were built to endure.
Your strength isn’t in how you look—but in how you continue.

✅ COCKROACHES CAN LIVE WITHOUT A HEAD.

Yes.
For days.

They breathe through their sides.
They keep moving.
Still surviving.

Lesson?
Even when life feels headless, uncertain, or out of control—
God gives you breath.
And that breath is enough to keep going.

✅ COCKROACHES RUN FROM LIGHT.

They’re not performers.
They seek cover.
They work in silence.

Lesson?
Not all growth happens in the spotlight.
Sometimes, God shapes you in hidden places—
Far from applause, but close to purpose.

✅ COCKROACHES CLEAN UP DECAY.

They break down waste.
They help restore balance.

They’re part of God’s design to clean what’s been left behind.

Lesson?
You don’t need a glamorous role to make a godly impact.
Even the most humble work—when done with faithfulness—brings restoration.

✅ COCKROACHES AREN’T PRETTY—BUT THEY’RE POWERFUL.

They don’t chirp.
They don’t glow.
They don’t get noticed.

But they endure.

Lesson?
True strength isn’t always attractive.
Sometimes, it’s quiet obedience and unshakable grit.

✅ SCRIPTURE CALLS SMALL CREATURES “EXCEEDING WISE.”

“The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare…”
“The conies are feeble, yet they make their houses in the rocks…”
– Proverbs 30:24–28

God placed wisdom even in the smallest of His creatures.

Lesson?
Your size doesn’t determine your significance.
Your obedience does.

SO, WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THE COCKROACH?

✅ Stay faithful in unseen places.
✅ Be strong even when small.
✅ Let purpose—not praise—drive you.
✅ Don’t quit. Even when crushed.
✅ Restoration often begins in dark, quiet places.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Next time you see a cockroach?

Before the slipper swings—pause.

Remember:

It’s not the loudest… nor the loveliest… that survive.

It’s the ones who refuse to stop.

You too may be misunderstood.
Not cheered. Not celebrated.
But still chosen by God to endure, clean, rebuild, and rise.

Because Heaven sees beyond appearance.

And the quiet worker?

Is never forgotten by the Creator.

But instead of a joyful reunion, her family received the most painful surprise of all.
𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐮𝐳𝐚 — an OFW who had just arrived from Japan — was so close to finally being home. She boarded a bus from Cebu, just a few miles away from her hometown, excited to surprise her loved ones.

But she never made it. 💔
She died on that bus. Alone. Of cardiac arrest.

🕯️ Her luggage was filled with gifts... but her body carried the weight of years of sacrifice.
𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝. 𝐓𝐨𝐨 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝.
And no one knew how close she was to breaking down — not from weakness, but from giving too much of herself to everyone but herself.

💡 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐔𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐋:
📌 To our OFWs:
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧.
Please listen to your body. Take care of your health. Rest is not selfish — it’s survival.

📌 To families waiting at home:
𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞.
Check on them even while they’re away. Ask how they’re doing. Insist on medical checkups. Remind them they matter — not just for what they give, but for who they are.

📌 To all of us chasing dreams:
𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬.
Coming home alive is more important than bringing pasalubong.

👣 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒎𝒂 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚...
But the surprise became grief.
The excitement turned to mourning.
💔🕊️
𝐓𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐀𝐮𝐳𝐚,
Your story is heartbreaking, but your life will not be forgotten.
You gave everything — even your last breath — for the people you love.
May your story awaken the hearts of many. May you rest in peace, our modern-day hero.

For our Family in the Philippines, Love and show us that we matter, not because of what we can give, but because we deserve it..

Bees Hold a Hidden Wisdom

When a beehive loses its queen—the one life-giver and unifier of their intricate society—it faces a quiet catastrophe. The rhythm of the colony slows. No new eggs mean no future, and within weeks, extinction looms.

But the bees don’t fall into chaos. They don’t wait for rescue.

Instead, they act—swiftly, intelligently, instinctively. What follows is one of nature’s most remarkable responses to crisis.

It begins with an unexpected decision.

From among the countless ordinary larvae—destined to become ordinary worker bees—a few are chosen. They aren’t special. They weren’t born different. But their destiny is about to change.

These chosen few are fed something extraordinary: royal jelly—a potent, nutrient-rich secretion from specialized nurse bees. It’s more than food; it’s a signal. A biological switch.

Fed exclusively on this substance, one larva’s body begins to transform. It grows larger, stronger. Its lifespan extends nearly twentyfold. It will no longer serve. It will reign.

The queen is not born. She is made.

This isn’t about superior genes. It’s about nourishment, care, and environment. If humans could do the same—take any child and, with the right support, cultivate greatness—imagine the possibilities.

Crisis doesn’t end life. It creates leaders.

The larva’s transformation doesn’t just save her. It rescues the entire hive. As a new queen, she restores the colony’s order, fertility, and rhythm. A future once threatened is rebuilt—stronger, more resilient.

A quiet lesson in resilience

In their silence, bees teach us: when everything seems lost, what’s needed isn’t panic. It’s vision. Choice. Compassion. Leadership.

Their world reminds us that greatness isn’t born—it’s nurtured. That even in the darkest times, with the right support, someone ordinary can become extraordinary.

Because sometimes, the most powerful leaders rise from the most uncertain moments.

A crocodile doesn’t waste its energy racing across the water.
It glides slowly, almost silently, keeping its eyes locked on the target.
It knows that moving fast in the wrong direction only wastes energy.
But moving with intention — no matter how slow — always brings it closer to the goal.

In life, it’s easy to be fooled by speed.
We rush from task to task, achievement to achievement, thinking movement equals progress.
But without clarity of direction, we’re just burning energy in circles.

Choose your path with care.
Then move toward it, steadily.
Because speed without direction is chaos.
But direction — even without speed — is power.

A group of successful graduates once visited their former professor.
They had built impressive careers, held prestigious titles, and lived seemingly perfect lives.

While waiting for coffee, their conversation turned to the stresses of work, exhaustion, and the pressures of adulthood.
Some laughed.
Some complained.
Some philosophized.

The professor returned with a tray full of mismatched cups —
porcelain and glass, ceramic and plastic, elegant and chipped, minimalist and ornate.

As the guests chose their cups, the professor quietly observed…
Then he spoke:

“Notice how you all instinctively reached for the finest cups — the fancy ones.
Not a single person chose the worn-out or plastic ones.
And that’s the root of much of your stress.”

“You wanted the coffee — not the cup.
But you focused on the cup’s appearance, not the essence of what you came for.”

He continued:

“Life is like coffee.
Career, salary, status, home, car — those are just cups.
They don’t define the richness of life itself.”

“Sometimes we get so distracted by the ‘cup’,
we forget to savor the coffee.”

☕ So drink your coffee with joy.
Not by comparing.
Not by competing.
Not by glancing sideways.

Because the happiest people aren’t those who have the best of everything —
but those who know how to make the best of what they have.

You came naked,
You will go naked.
You arrived weak,
You will leave weak.
You came without money and things,
You will leave even without money and things.
Your first bath? Someone washed you,
Your last bath? Someone will wash you.

This is life!!!

So why so much malice, so much envy, so much hate, so much resentment and so much selfishness?

BE KIND to everyone and do good deeds.

We have limited time on Earth don’t waste it in uselessness.
