This one’s for all the corporate girlies who are fending off emails, circling back to a hundred things, and hitting those KPIs while on the monthly bleed 😔

Sometimes, you just want to turn off the corporate speak and scream. But if your boss is in the room, the next best thing you can probably do is read “A Drip. A Drop. A Deluge: A Period Tragicomedy” by Andeasyand – an honest, bold, and humorous depiction of menstrual experiences 🩸 which can be found in “How Are You Feeling? A Comics Anthology”.

Picking up a book just because there’s a cat in it? Not gonna lie, we’re guilty as charged… 🐈

Even if the cat distribution system hasn’t chosen you yet 🥲, we’ve got a feline friend for everyone this whether it’s a lovable island loaf, a magical girl-turned-cat, or a (literal) teacher’s pet.

📖 “Tiger Girls” by Felicia Low-Jimenez and Claire Low
📖 “Two Tails” by Kiana Fedly aka Kifurai
📖 “The Makers Club: Game On!” by Reimena Yee and Tintin Pantoja

Queasy. Ravenous. Self-conscious.🥴 What does a week in your period feel like?

It is *that* time of the month! We ask Andeasyand, creator of “A Drip. A Drop. A Deluge: A Period Tragicomedy”, to reflect on the gritty, turbulent, and messy thoughts that the monthly bleed brings. Across the spectrum of awkward to ick, dive into all things menstrual in her comic where she illustrates the lives of various women through their periods and how each drop of blood speaks to a unique yet shared experience with others out there.

What's fierce, majestic, and fabulous but in danger of extinction? This 🐅 in particular reminds us of the critically endangered tigers of Southeast Asia threatened by poaching and habitat loss, and the women born in the Year of the Tiger in "Tiger Girls" who are hunted and killed for the belief that they bring bad luck.

It's always the strongest ones that others seek to bend and break. Illustrating the Tiger Girls with their animal counterparts, Claire Low dreams with us of a world where creatures do not need to fight for their right to live.

How many lives does a story live?

Take a page from Shreya Davies and Vanessa Wong, the writer-artist duo behind “To the Last Gram”, as they share about how they collaborated to create a graphic novel. The Double Life of a Story looks at the intersection between different creative practices and how they can influence and inspire each other, creating a fresh new way of storytelling.
