Is there ministry in Nepal? The Tamang people were once grouped under a category of peoples that could legally be enslaved in their homeland of Nepal. The practice was thankfully ended in 1963. Now, our prayer is that they would find a new kind of freedom, one only found in Jesus.

“I’ve never seen the light of this world in my entire life.”
This listener in Mongolia lived with total blindness since the day she was born. But there was another darkness in her life, one which led her away from God, and it wasn’t until one fateful night that everything changed.
She said, “I couldn’t sleep and was turning the radio dial, just listening. It was past midnight when I came across the Women of Hope program.” As she listened, her heart was touched, and she knew she had to return to church.
“I had felt like God was far from me,” she said, “but through this, I was reminded that He is actually so near.”

There are 28 people groups in Mongolia; more than half are considered unreached by the gospel — 93.2% of the population.
TWR is reaching the people of Mongolia with programming in their heart language, establishing — perhaps for the first time in their lives — a path to meeting Christ in a way that they can understand.

Two of TWR West Africa’s local contacts were recently imprisoned for distributing Christian literature in Mauritania. Others face intimidation, surveillance and public denunciation. It is a picture of the realities of sharing the gospel in certain areas of the world, and it makes this work all the more important.
