This is the start of a new chapter for our ministry and the billions we serve across the world, and we look forward to all the Lord has in store. Hope is catching.
More than 99% of people in Mauritania do not know Jesus. It is one of the many reasons we broadcast programming in the Hassaniya language: to make the gospel available to people who could otherwise never hear it. And now, we are seeing the power of Jesus to bring people to himself in these communities:

“My neighbor and [I] are listening every time to this program. I gather my friends and do everything for the guests to listen … One of them, my closest neighbor, even wants to give her life to Jesus Christ, but her husband is still reluctant, so I ask you to pray for her and her husband. It is not easy, but God is in control.”

Most of the world’s Hassaniya speakers live in Mauritania, a nation described as “the point least touched by the gospel in all of West Africa” by Rev. Dr. Sangho Abdoulaye, TWR international director for West and Central Africa. But we broadcast The Way of Righteousness and other programs in Hassaniya Arabic in countries where Hassaniya speakers are most prevalent, sharing a hope only Jesus can provide.
