People often ask me what Iโve saved, expecting to hear about money or assets. But my answer is differentโIโve saved memories. Sunrises from mountain peaks, the scent of the ocean, vibrant markets alive with color, and quiet nights under foreign skies.
Every peso I earn turns into tickets, adventures, and stories Iโll carry forever. Some might think itโs reckless, but to me, itโs intentional. This is my season for exploring the world, for choosing moments over material things.
Happiness is an investment, too. When I stand on a cliffโs edge or sip coffee in a small cafรฉ in a distant city, I feel alive in ways that money sitting in a bank never could. Someday, Iโll shift my focus to stability, savings, and the milestones others expect. But for now, Iโm investing in experiences that make life feel bigger, richer, and more meaningful.
So, when they ask what Iโve saved, Iโll smile and say: sunsets, laughter with strangers who became friends, and pieces of myself left in every place Iโve visited. And for now, thatโs more than enough.
