iRace was first established in 1986 by Times Publishing Pte Ltd in Singapore under the name Racing Guide and quickly became a major player in the horse racing industry with its first full season of publishing in 1987. This new racing magazine was the first to offer readers the unique feature of an independent trackwork table located next to the race card for each race.
From as early as 1986 iRace readers enjoyed a race book with 4 tables clearly displaying unique data and horse racing information. The race card table clearly outlined the horses set to participate in each race. The Trackwork Table made spotting the horses, which are in good form easily identifiable. The Selections Table covered a range of tips to cater for all weather and track conditions, while the Past Performance table clearly outlined a horses previous starts in an easy to read format.
iRace Magazine
Acquired by iRace Media Ptd Ltd and rebranded iRace, the magazine continued to evolve and offer readers new and unique information, features and statistical data. The evolution to full colour dramatically increased the readability of the iRace magazine, as the jockey silks were conveniently relocated next to each horses name. Another implementation was the addition of the highly unique Fast Form Table in 2008, which has become a popular trademark of the iRace magazine.
