Spotted a wanton soup and char siew noodle spot at Fortune Pot, Mount Austin, serving up some Chinese dishes too. What I really like is their small portion side dishes—perfect for adding on without overspending. My set was just around SGD$8 (converted) and surprisingly filling.
Heard their hot favourite is the Sarawak Kolo Mee with crispy shrimp wanton. If you’re nearby, check them out!

Have you tried Caipng Restaurant in JB? I did recently.
My friends and I ordered two side dishes, an extra soup, and two bowls of rice — all for just RM39. Drinks are available at the counter too. They looked really good, though I didn’t try any. You might want to give them a shot!

At first, I thought the names sound very salty and sour leh… but drink already, wah, really refreshing sia!
✅ Aiyu Super Lemon Wintermelon – got that sour-sweet kick, but not overly sweet. Shiok when you super thirsty.
✅ Aiyu Salty Lemon Mint Wintermelon – after I more hydrated, this one hit the spot. Got that salty-minty refreshing vibe.
Both come with freshly brewed wintermelon tea. The Aiyu jelly really makes it super shiok sia!
