🇲🇾If you’re at Toppen Mall in Johor Bahru, keep your eyes peeled for the Pizza Hut promo team walking around! 👀🍕They do this daily according to what they said but only limited hours have this walk-around activities.
They’re selling special pizza price on the spot — I managed to grab a whole pizza for just RM10! 😍 That’s such a steal for a quick, tasty, and satisfying meal. Perfect for a break while shopping.

Found myself wandering around Chinatown — and as we all know, it’s a true food paradise. No matter where you turn, there’s always something tempting to eat, with endless variety to choose from.
This time, I made my way to People's Park Food Centre. After walking through the entire hawker centre to scout out the best pick for my small appetite, I settled on Zheng Wei Noodles, known for its wide selection of dishes.
I went for the Heng Hua Lor Mee — and wow, what a treat! It came loaded with goodies like braised pork, prawns, clams, and more. All that for just $5.50 — super worth it. The broth was comforting, the ingredients were generous, and the noodles were smooth and satisfying.

If you're a cuttlefish snack lover, you’ve probably explored options in Singapore or even Johor Bahru—maybe from places like Taoyuan Snack Store or Mr. Sotong. But let’s be honest, they can be a little pricey, and sometimes the freshness isn’t quite there.
I recently stumbled upon a better options that offers the cuttlefish snack at a much more affordable price—without compromising on quality. No moldy bits, and it's upgraded taste!
Interestingly, I discovered this spot while dining at the restaurant itself, and later found out they have a small shop inside that sells a variety of snacks and other sea or seafood related products, including their delicious and reasonably priced dried cuttlefish aka cuttlefish snack.
I bought a 200g pack of cuttlefish snack for RM42. Compared to Mr. Sotong, where you have to buy a minimum of 500g which is RM140, the price here works out to around RM105 for 500g. While the price difference isn’t huge for a Singaporean, the cuttlefish here definitely looks way fresher and in better condition as well as packaging.
