Diri nala maiha, an simple nga bubuhaton, an pagpakadto nala sa syudad san Calbayog sa ATON Samar Island Medical Center para makuha an eksakto ngan tama nga panginahanglanon sa panlawas. Tikang san MRI, CT Scans, Dialysis, ngan iba pa nga importante liwat nga Serbisyo-medikal in mahipapaabot ngan makakabulig na san NGATANAN NGA SAMARNON sa aton kalugaringon nga isla.🏥

Today, His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has signed into law RA 11703 or “An Act Establishing in Calbayog City, Province of Samar, a Tertiary Hospital, to be known as the Samar Island Medical Center, and appropriating funds therefor.”
Soon our people no longer have to go to Tacloban and travel 5 hours just to get medical attention. Soon all they have to do is go to Calbayog City and get medical treatment in OUR Samar Island Medical Center. From MRI, CT Scans, Dialysis, and other important Medical Treatments, we can now help ALL Samarnons in our own Island. Samar Island is the third largest island in the country with a population of over 2 million residents and soon we will finally have our first and only tertiary hospital.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude first and foremost to God for his enlightenment and blessing us with this. Importantly, I also thank my co-authors of House Bill No. 8195 House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, The Honorable Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez of Tingog Partylist, House Committee on Health Chairman Rep. Angelina, Northern Samar Rep. Paul Ruiz Daza, Northern Samar Rep. Jose Ong. Jr. and Parañaque City Rep. Eric Olivarez.
It is also with profound respect and admiration that I would like to personally extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Chairperson of the Committee on Health and Demography Christopher Lawrence "B**g" Go for his hardwork & dedication for the betterment of all Samarnons. My gratitude as well to Senate Majority leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Francis Pangilinan. Ramon "B**g" Revilla Jr. and Senate Minority Leader Sen. Franklin Drilon for filing the senate counterpart bill.
Lastly, for and behalf of all Samarnons we would like to express our sincerest thanks to His Excellency President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, for his unquestionable love and support for all Samarnons.
In signing this bill into law, President Duterte has shown once again that he is indeed a Father to all Filipinos. Salamat Tatay Digong for making Samar Island Medical Center a reality for Samarnons.
