I want to take a quiet moment to share something that’s been meaningful to me.
The private sound sessions at my home studio over the past weeks stayed with me in ways I didn’t expect. Not because of the sessions themselves, but because of what they gently became — something shared.
Together, a portion of the proceeds is directed to Sian Chay, supporting families who need access to TCM medical care, and to SOSD, supporting life-saving work.
It didn’t feel like a transaction. It felt like a collective gesture, carried by many hands.
I was also quietly, and delightfully, surprised. Many who came were celebrating themselves — anniversaries, birthdays, moments of choosing to pause and care. That added a layer of meaning for me that I hadn’t anticipated.
December has long been a time where I make space to give back. It’s something I’ve been doing since the sudden passing of my mum, on a wet December, in my 20s — a way of giving that I learned from her. This year, doing so felt different.
It felt awkward at first to ask for this to be shared. But as everyone showed up with such openness and readiness, it slowly became natural — and in that, I learned that giving and receiving are never separate.

May you receive all the love and light the universe is offering you, in the ways you need most.
