When you carry two cultures, Christmas finds you twice🥰
🇸🇰In Slovakia, we celebrate Christmas on the 24th.
🇳🇬In Nigeria, it’s on the 25th,different days, different traditions, but the same beautiful feeling🥰
I’m thankful for the beauty of different traditions, the love that connects them and for having love, family, and warmth on both sides🫂💝

DAY 2: Grace while becoming

Grateful that in a place where I was new, I was not alone.
I had my husband beside me,my steady support system, patient, kind and loving.
I also found warmth in my mother-in-law’s heart and comfort in family who welcomed me not as a stranger, but as one of their own.

I began learning a new language, slowly, gradually....
Some days it flows, other days it humbles me😄
But I am learning more than words; I am learning patience with myself.
In unfamiliar surroundings, I found something familiar: belonging, family and for that i am grateful 🥲

Day 1: Reflections on gratitude, thanksgiving, and love.

2025 began beautifully,I stepped into a new chapter of love, one that changed my life in the most profound way.
Soon after, everything familiar shifted😊😊
A new country
A new home
New people
A new language
Everything changed so quickly,but somehow love stayed constant.
But then in all the transitions, love remained my anchor, steady and sure❤️❤️
And for that, I am deeply grateful.
