Youths Network for Better Change Leads Anti-Drug Campaign in Gbangbatoke

By: Abdulraman Bah

Gbangbatoke Town, Lower Banta Chiefdom –
The Youths Network for Better Change today held an important community gathering at Gbangbatoke Town, calling on young people to unite in the fight against drug abuse, particularly the use of Kush and other harmful substances.

During the event, speakers emphasized the need for youths to focus on education, development, and positive contributions to society rather than engaging in drug-related activities that destroy lives and futures.

The organization extended special appreciation to Mr. Abdulai Nasuri Mansaray, Town Chief Pessima, the Elders, and the Officer-in-Charge (OC) along with the Police at Gbangbatoke Station for their strong support and partnership in promoting peace, discipline, and community progress.

The campaign ended with a strong message of unity and determination — that the future of Gbangbatoke depends on a generation free from drugs and full of purpose.
