As for H.E. President Julius Maada Bio, it is important to understand that leaders often use metaphorical language to emphasize a point or inspire their base. His words were not literal but symbolic, and unfortunately, they have been taken out of context by critics seeking to create unnecessary tension.
In politics, context is everything. Twisting figurative expressions into literal accusations only distracts from the real issues of governance and development. What matters most is the President’s continued commitment to national progress, unity, and the welfare of all Sierra Leoneans, regardless of political affiliation.
