Addressing the players and officials at the SLFA Academy today Tuesday September 1, President Kamara challenged the young players to believe in themselves and embrace the responsibility of wearing the national colors. โ€œAs Shooting Stars, you are fit to play among the best in the tournament.โ€. "Be motivated, believe in yourselves and go out there to bring the trophy home," he stated.

The SLFA President also called on the technical team to uphold professionalism and fairness throughout the selection process, emphasising that players should be selected strictly on merit and their ability to contribute to the national teamโ€™s success.

SLFA Executive Committee Member ๐Œ๐จ๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ ๐’๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ž ๐‰๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ก, who will lead the Shooting Stars delegation to Senegal, assured the President and the people of Sierra Leone of a committed and professional representation. โ€œWe are grateful for the confidence placed in us.โ€. As delegation leaders, we will ensure that the boys are well supported and that Sierra Leone is represented with discipline, dignity, and pride. "We are going to Senegal with one mission โ€” to make our country proud," Jalloh said.

Head Coach Patrick Bangura welcomed the Presidentโ€™s engagement, describing the message as a major source of motivation for the players. This inspiration from the President is huge for the boys. "It will push us not just to compete, but to contend against any opponent," he said.

The Tournament runs from ๐Ÿ•โ€“๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฅ, with Sierra Leone scheduled to face ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐†๐š๐ฆ๐›๐ข๐š ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ• ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ, ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฅ ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ข๐š ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ.
