Makeni Celebrates Sierra Leone's 60th Independence Anniversary.
The people of Makeni city have joined other Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad to celebrate 60 years since the country gained it Independence from Britain.
People in Makeni which is northern province capital of Sierra Leone has taken to the streets and social media to celebrate the day.
On social media, you see that the real display of art and several people posted pictures dipicting the atrocities of slavery and colonialism, some just love for their country.
