I had the pleasure of meeting this talented Sierra Leonean Nollywood actor, who is making remarkable strides in the industry.

He has worked alongside some of Nollywood’s biggest stars, including Emeka Ike, Nadia Buari, Yul Edochie, Mike Godson, Mike Ezuruonye, Lizzy Gold, and many other familiar names.

He has returned to Sierra Leone for three movie premieres, beginning with Uncanny Love. The general premiere will take place on August 29, followed by the VIP premiere on August 30.

Alvera Paula Thomas is a civil engineer and a 2023 graduate of Fourah Bay College. She is also an alumna of the Annie Walsh Memorial School, Class of 2012.

Alvera is appealing to the general public for urgent financial assistance as she battles malignant cancer that has severely affected her face. The illness has caused a large tumour, leaving one of her eyes completely closed while the other is being pushed outward.

She urgently needs to travel to India for life-saving surgery and specialised medical treatment. Her family is therefore soliciting support from the public to help cover the cost of her treatment and travel.
