IN A JOINT EFFORT TO SPEEDILY IMPROVE ON THE ELECTRICITY POWER SUPPLY OF REKUPA COMMUNITY THE HONOURABLE MEMBER OF CONSTITUENCY 116 TOGETHER WITH CHAIRMAN MARRAH,
CHAIRMAN ALIM, AND
COUNCILLOR ICE T (ward 408).

It was a glorious and joyous moment for the people of Repuka Community in the Eastern part of Freetown after been befitted with a heavy transformer with the capacity of four hundred KV. When receiving this transformer the Community people started by thanking the Honourable Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie for his swift effort in advocating and lobby skills in order to ensure that Repuka power supply being boost in heavy form.

They further, registered the Blissful action through jubilation and song praise of good tone, "This is the first time as a community we have received a fastly response by the Central Government, this mean the Government of President Bio is Responsive and efficient.

Electricity supply is one of the Main pillar of the SLPP Government and they are always creating that Assurance which normally follow with proper implementation.

In conclusion, Hon. Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie told the People of Rokupa that he and his Government are ready to Serve the People of this Nations. "Rokupa Community is part of my Constituency and I will not seat back and keep afar from things that will help transforming this Community, I will work tirelessly to bring things the will be beneficial to all"

*AS PART OF HIS MANDATE HON. *EMMANUEL SAHR GBIKIE *PARTICIPATED* *ON THE ECOWAS* *NETWORK* *OF PARLIAMENTARIANS ON GENDER, AGRICULTURE, INVESTMENT, FOOD SECURITY AND DEVELOPMENT** .*

ON Tuesday 3th 2020, the member of Parliament for Constituency 116 participated in a virtual meeting yesterday at the Kimbima Hotel.

This meeting is annually held to to evaluate and assess the progress been made by members state of the ECOWAS and also exchange ideas on how to strengthen and building countries implementation on Gender, Agriculture, investment and Forster development across it members states.

When speaking at the meeting yesterday, the Honourable Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie Constituency 116 vehemently told is colleagues that Sierra Leone is rich in those areas and his Government has placed vital interest in making sure that it brings dividend to the general Sierra Leoneans.

He further continue to say "Am representing a Constituency which these things are eminent and have had challenges over the years, with my brave leadership have been able to combats some and still working on the remain.

HONOURABLE EMMANUEL SAHR GBEKIE TURNS SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI-PURPOSE HALL AT THE PORTEE COMMUNITY.

On Monday the 26th October, 2020. The Honourable Member of Constituency 116 turn sod for a decent Mutil-purpose Hall at Portee Plaza.

The Beautiful one has being born in Constituency 116, by the Name of Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie. In order to give a befitting face lifting at the Portee Junction Plaza. Honourable Gbekie has set a landmark history in the Constituency.

Portee Community has been backward; in term of visible and sustainable development for the past Decades, community meetings have been held in different schools around the Community which can not even accommodate five hundred people.

Since Honourable Gbekie started steering the mantle, there have been tremendous development across the Constituency. Over the past years portee Community has been deprived of some many basic Amenities, now they have a real Moses, who is leading them into the promise Land. Ranging from one development to the other, infrastructure is close to his heart, thereby insuring that key infrastructures are being done in the Constituency. The shops under the plaza are currently occupied by indigenous people of the community, the rental fees will be use for maintenance purpose of the building.

Most of those projects are not fund by the central government, it's coming directly from the Honourable's pocket.

As a young, committed, dynamic, visionary leader Honourable Gbekie has been romancing with his constituents in pain and happiness, and showing solidarity whenever the need arises. Within the shortest possible of time Honourable Gbekie has created alot of landmark in Constituency compare to his predecessor, he is also set to unlash alot of Positive Strides before his end of his First time.

Hon. Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie Donated A 42 inches Plasma TV to the F.S.U department at the Kissy Messi Messi Police Station.

The Member of Parliament of Constituency 116, as Today, Friday 23 October, 2020 Donated 42 inches Plasma TV to the Kissy Messi Messi Police F. S. U Department. When receiving this humble gesture by the philanthropist member of Parliament, the head of the F. S. U thank the honourable member for Considering them in such a good form.

She further noted that, this is the first time they as unite have received a gift from a high profile Politician serving in that capacity. "Even though we are not part of your Constituency, but you still think of us in your developmental activities" she said.

In his responses honourable Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie, registered his sincere gratitude towards the entire Kissy Barrack Police Division and rendered a special thanks to the F. S.U in maning disputes among families and settle marriages, that would had ended in bad shape.

He continues to express his appreciation for the laudable jobs which the Police Barrack has rendered to residents in that Viccinty and down to his Constituency.

IN A BID TO ENSURE FULL ENERGY SUPPLY IN FREETOWN AND IT ENVIRONS, ENERGY MINISTER STORM PORTEE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE EFFORT OF HON. EMMANUEL S. GBEKIE.

As a result of relentless efforts been made by the skillful, Astute, Hon. Gbekie and Stakeholders of Portee Community. The Minister of Energy Alhaji Kanja Sesay made a spot check on Portee Electricity transformer in the east of Freetown.

Portee Community is one of the biggest Communities in the western Urban area, the community is largely populated with fishmongers, who solely depend on Ice block, to ice their fishes.

When addressing the gathering Minister Kanja applauded Member of Parliament of Constituency 116,Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie for constantly calling him to ensure that he upgrade the Portee electricity Transformer.

The Minister had to say this " Dis nor kam pan politics business, e nor kam pan colour business, but di MP representing di people of Portee.E don tay wae e dae call for dis ar don know di problems na ya" he noted.

He assured the MP and the people of Portee Community that the transformer would be replaced by a new transformer which has 400KV and above, to replace the present one of 315KV.

The Minister; went on to disclose that the Portee transformer has no damage, that was why his engineers accorded him, but only to know that the transformer is carrying heavy voltage above its present 315KV which makes the rationing to upgrade it.

There is saying which says "If a child can not sleep, the mother too can not sleep" that what Hon. Gbekie has being doing to make sure that his people enjoying full electricity supply.

THE HONOURABLE MEMBER OF CON. 116 AND CHIEF IMMIGRATION OFFICER PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO FLOOD VICTIMS AT PORTEE COMMUNITY.

On Saturday, 5th September,2020. The Honourable of Parliament of Con. 116 Emmanuel Sahr Gbekie and the Chief Immigration Officer Andrew J Kaikai responded to the plights of the victims by donated food items worth millions of Leones.

When making these donations, the dynamic, industrious and result oriented Hon. of the Said Constitucy, extended sincere sympathy on behalf of the Government and as a representative of that Community. He registered Government commitment in responding to the people and sympathize with them at this critical time.

Other representatives are one from the Ministry of Imformation and Communication, Coucillors, stakeholders in the Portee community.

When admonishing victims: the Chief Immigration Officer of Sierra Leone, Mr. Andrew Jaiah Kaikai who served as the keynote speaker had to say this "Me famble dem all wae gather na ya! Ar bring to una all greetings,greetings from his Excellency retired Brigardier Julius Maada Bio!we kam na ya tiday,for kam sympathize with una en make sure say di af-af tin wae una need for move una to the better location wae una go want'.

One of the Victims had to thank the Hon. Emmanuel Gbekie, Chief Immigration Officer and the government of President Bio, and extended thank and appreciation. " Dis na de first time in de History of Portee fo mak we see young Honourable like dis way always dae with e people them way pray mak God bless am with the President" He said.

In conclusion; the stakeholders registered theirs, joy and happiness for such a gesture by state functionaries. And tell them to be visiting Portee Community like their Place of Birth.
