MY DAD ONCE TOLD ME: "BY AGE 35, YOU SHOULD BE SMART ENOUGH ΤΟ REALIZE THIS:

1. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said.

2. Silence is better than unnecessary drama. Stay calm and stay focused.

3. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete.

Competition is a weakness. I believe in the skills God gave me as a gift.

4. The family you create is more important than the family you come from. My wife and my children are my immediate family. And they are my most important priority on earth.

5. Your current job doesn't care about you. They only pay you enough to kill your dreams.
I am a freelancer cinematographer, Editor and a film facilitator and I'm satisfied with my job because its has shaped my life and a very good skills to depend on.

6. Free yourself from society's advice, because most of them have no idea what they're doing. The society will never debate to me how to run my life.

7. Most people drift through life.

They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent.

Learn their needs. Lead them.

8. It's better to have 1 friend who's:

• Happy for you

• Supports your win

• Encourages your dreams

Than a bunch of acquaintances who are:

• Lazy

Self-centered

• Jealous of your success

Few months back some Sierra Leonean filmmakers had an adventurous journey with Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary to create a visual film which depicts the importance of Chimpanzees in our wildlife and we should protect Chimpanzees.Title of this movie is "More Life" 97% were Sierra Leonean actors and technical team. Our role is not only to entertainer with mere smiles but we educate our nation on certain things worldwide,Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary which happens to be the home of our National Wildlife, premiered a TV series at the American Embassy 🇺🇸 on the 11th of July 2024, the presence of the U.S. Ambassador Mr Bryan David Hunt was there and gave out a wonderful speech to encourage us the filmmakers not to relent with our work at the US Embassy of Freetown, Sierra Leone. Friends and many other personalities from different works of life were there as well. Like World Hope organization, Sierra Leone Broadcasting Coperation management team (S.L.B.C) Rainforest national park, ministry of Tourism, ministry of forest industry Sierra Leone, Arm forces and many more. After showing the film there was Q&A for the cast as well as the crew, for me this is what I was asked and my answers were. Question: how do I predict my lenses as a filmtastic filmmaker? Answer: My name is Schwarbu Eastwood Kamara a renowned cinematographer in Sierra Leone, West Africa. A Mandingo and Mende by tribe, and I was born in the East part of my country, Kenema, Nongowa chiefdom. As filmmakers, we know that lenses are not merely pieces of glass. They are our go-to devices to catch light through dark and turn it into pure magic. Each lens has its own characteristics, special effects, and visual style, but not only that. Every one tells a different story – even the wildest ultra-wides.
