The 2025 Sexual Harassment in Media Workplaces survey, led by WAN-IFRA WIN and City St George’s, University of London, is gathering fresh, anonymous data to better understand the extent of the issue – and how to tackle it.

We’re inviting media professionals across Sierra Leone to take part. Whether you’ve experienced harassment, witnessed it, or simply want to support safer workplaces – your input is valuable.

Mohamed A Kamara, co-founder and manager of the Freetown Innovation Lab, is recycling discarded tyres and other waste to transform them into bespoke designer furniture while empowering young people to get involved.

The World Bank estimates that around 130,000 tonnes of plastic waste is generated every year in Sierra Leone - currently, less than 6% is recycled.

We're amplifying the voices of young people working for climate and environmental action and supporting media to ensure that the next generation has the trusted information they need.
