Kenya’s Supreme Court has ruled that children born out of wedlock to Muslim fathers can inherit their father’s estate. The unanimous decision aligns Islamic law with the Kenyan constitution. It came after a widow tried to exclude her late husband’s children with other women. The court found the exclusion discriminatory and upheld the children’s right to inheritance.

Ghana has signed a $1 billion deal with UAE to build Africa’s largest AI and tech hub.

The hub, named "Ghana‑UAE Innovations and Technology Hub" spans roughly 25 km².

The Ghana government will provide the land and PCFC funding the development.

The hub will become Africa’s largest AI and tech innovation district, hosting over 11,000 global firms such as Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, IBM, and Alphabet.

It will also serve as a regional base for AI engineering, BPO/KPO, and Africa-tailored machine learning.

Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio Succeeds President Tinubu As ECOWAS Head

Sierra Leone Presiden Julius Maada Bio has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), succeeding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria.

President Bio promised to prioritize democracy, security cooperation, economic integration and institutional credibility.

“We are still confronting insecurity in the Sahel and coastal states, terrorism, political instability, illicit arms flow and transnational organized crimes continue to test the resilience of our nations and the effectiveness of our institutions,” he said.

A new upheaval task is on President Bio to bring back the Alliance of Sahel States, which comprises Mali, Burkina Faso to ECOWAS. All three Sahel nations left ECOWAS and created their own regional bloc, the Alliance of Sahel States.

Can President bring security and economic prosperity to ECOWAS and bring back the Sahel States to the West African bloc?

Hello everyone on this blue app,
This is Mr Denis Amara Turay AKA Kao De Nero- The Entertainment Ambassador in Sierra Leone.
Sometimes I really want to meet Kao Denero in person just to understand why so many people don’t like him. And the majority of them are people who’ve either never met him, had issues with him, or have family members who did.

I genuinely want to know: is he really that bad? Or is he just misunderstood? Because the last time I checked, even Emmerson nor able see the Salone man way get the badheart.

Or can we all just agree it’s kao?

Tensions are running high between Algeria🇩🇿 and Mali🇲🇱 this is after the Algeria army shot down a Malian military drone. Algeria is accusing Mali of violating its airspace 3 times in recent months. This led to the withdrawal of ambassadors of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger in Algiers, this decision came through their joint Sahel Alliance.

Now the confrontation is intensifying due to the Algerian order to close its airspace with Mali and withdraw its ambassadors in Bamako, the Malian capital, and Niamey, the Nigerien capital. The Sahel countries accuse Algiers of having shot down the Malian drone with the sole aim of protecting the terrorists it harbours on its borders with Mali.

The Malian authorities presented precise coordinates and data demonstrating that their drone, shot down by the Algerian army a week ago, was indeed in Malian territory. Algeria has fallen silent to prove its case.
