The government of Sierra Leone, through its Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Reproductive and Child Health, has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to ensuring and enhancing family planning knowledge among Sierra Leoneans by conducting congested community multi-faceted engagements at Dr Donald Grant Hall in Kenema.

Dr. Steven Fornie, the District Medical Officer, observed the session, which was attended by lactating mothers, pregnant women, religious leaders, civil society members, and other district dignitaries in Kenema District.

This engagement, as per Dr Status Issa, Programme Manager of the Reproductive Health Ministry of Health and Family Planning, said family planning should be prioritized and it is part of the ongoing 300 days of activism for zero child death in Sierra Leone.
