Talk to people with respect and always treat them nicely. No one knows the source of his aid. Maybe those who you're treating badly now maybe your helpers someday – only Allāh knows. Thus always rely upon the Almighty, treat the people with care and be careful of your words.

Know that,

When developing your connection with Allāh ﷻ, also make efforts in correcting your character to the creatures of the same Allāh.

Normally, your character is gauge by how you treat others! You can never be dutiful to the Creator and harsh on the creatures at the same time.

When the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was asked, What are the characteristics of the people of Paradise?
He did not only mentioned consciousness of the Creator but added greatness in character to the creatures as well! (Tirmidhi 2004). Because these two go side-by-side.

Can a student of knowledge–who fears Allāh ﷻ be an armed robber?

Know that,

The Creator tests us differently with what He knows we can handle. He is aware of our difference in patience, tolerance and faith. Thus be patient for Allāh does not burden you beyond what you can bear!

The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Majah, 1746. Classed as sahih by Ibn Hiban, 8/216 and by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’, 6415)

Shaykh al-Islam [Ibn Taymiyah] said: “What is meant by giving him iftar is giving him enough to satisfy him.”
(Al-Ikhtiyarat, p. 194)
