Every day, hundreds of people pass by the Port Loko Town Clock Tower. But let’s ask the question many have been asking for years:
When was the last time this clock actually told the correct time?
A town clock should be a symbol of progress, pride, and public service. Instead, many residents see a structure that no longer serves its purpose—a landmark that stands tall but remains silent.
If public resources were used to build and maintain this clock tower, why has it been left without functioning? Who is responsible for ensuring it works? And when will the people of Port Loko see action instead of silence?
The people deserve answers. Development is not only about constructing projects—it is also about maintaining them.
