I am Mustapha Fofana, popularly known as DAD.
I don't like taking my issues to Social Media, but I am sharing this to raise more awareness on the rise of robbery.
On Friday 13th December 2024. After Friday's prayer, I went on filming the aftermath of the Tombo Park accident that left three people dead and several injured, and with interviews conducted with the Driver's Union and Trader's Union secretaries, I then left Waterloo and headed to Freetown at around 4:45 pm to visit my sick brother.
On my way from Freetown to Waterloo at around 9:20 pm on a Kekeh from K-Step Calaba Town to Jui, two young men on a motorbike (okada) snatched my backpack placed in front of me in a "Kekeh" as we approached Furniture Junction just after Allen Town Police Post and went away.
The backpack contained the following items:
One i5 HP Laptop Computer with 118 GB SSD, its charger, one extension with six USB slots and four AC slots, one electronic tapeline of 15ft, seven pen drives (one 1000 TB, two 32 GB, two 8 GB, one 16 GB, one 100 GB), one 100 GB Memory Card, one 1000 GB external HDD, one card reader, one Lumix digital Camera, one wireless Mic, one SSD case, one headphone, one line in cord, NLe 2,500 cash, other computer components and tools that I use to work with as an IT Technician.
This is my unfortunate situation as I get to the middle of December 2024.
If I have done any filming for you, please note that it is gone as I have no other backup of such files or promised to come and fix up a software problem on your computer; I have no software now as you are reading this message.
I am frustrated!
Must we all be rubbers because we just can't get our heart desires?
Thanks for checking on me after reading this message.
