Kailahun District Students' Union Lauds Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai for Consistent Support to Youths

The Executive and entire membership of the Kailahun District Students' Union (KaiDSU) at Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone have expressed warm sentiment to Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, the Executive Director of National Sports Authority, for his support towards the development of young people through sports in Kailahun District and across the country.

They are particularly thrilled by Dr. Abdulai's sacrifice in hosting Luawa's Premier League home matches in Kailahun, hundreds of miles away from Freetown.
"This bold initiative revived the sporting spirit in the district, empowered local talent, created economic opportunities, given many young people something to aspire towards, and above all, brought national recognition to our community," they wrote in a thank-you letter.

For his show of selflessness, the students said they are ready to serve as ambassadors in promoting Dr. Abdulai's good work and echo his vision among young people across all educational platforms in the district and beyond, while contributing in every way possible to ensure the continuity and success of his good work for young people and the country.

They expressed their wish for an audience with him during his weekend visit to the provinces.

The Presidential Adviser on Gender, Mrs. Isatu Kabba, has pledged her office's commitment to ensuring that the alleged victim of sexual violence within the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) receives the justice she deserves.
