Building Bridges for Youth Voices
On 13th August 2025, Kids Radio Network had a fruitful partnership discussion with Chicken Town SL, one of Sierra Leone’s leading food vendors with restaurants across the capital Freetown.

Our meeting with Nathalie Mansaray (Marketing Director) and Edward Boima (Marketing Manager) explored ways to work together, including potential sponsorship of our Teens Talk show and an exciting Schools Quiz Competition for schools that enjoy Chickentown lunches. 🏆📚

We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more updates as plans take shape!

Following a fruitful consultative meeting with the team from *Youth Creativity and Empowerment Foundation (YCEF Africa)*, Kids Radio Network is excited about the potential collaborations ahead of Sierra Leone Women and He4She Conference 2025. Together, we aim to strengthen youth engagement, child development, and community impact through shared values and action.

On Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, Kids Radio Network joined a vital consultative meeting with *YCEF Africa* and *IDHA* (Institute for Development & Human Advancement). Here are our top 4 takeaways:

*Strategic Collaboration for Youth Empowerment*
We discussed plans to support youth-led agricultural initiatives and SMEs through micro-loans, training, and business development.

*Focus on Child Nutrition & Growth*
IDHA shared its nutrition campaign goals. Kids Radio will use its platform to promote healthy living and awareness for children and families.

*Media Partnership for Social Impact*
As the voice for children and youth, KRN committed to using radio as a tool to amplify development stories, promote civic education, and encourage positive change.

*Upcoming Joint Programs & Conference*
The partners explored launching joint programs and participating in national conferences focused on youth, education, and empowerment.
