Traditional Healers are an integral part of the Kombra Network. Yet, in Kono, this pillar has been divided for a long time due to differences among its members, depriving the district of their full contribution to the national efforts.
In an effort to address this, the Chairman of District Kombra Network, Sheik Mohamed Lamin Fofana, is collabotating with the Focus1000 District Coordinator and the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee in Kono to resolve the issues using the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism.
This meeting held on Thursday, 17, 2025, was the beginning of the engagement that seeks to unearth the issues and prefer lasting solution.
The next meeting is slated for Thursday, 24th July, 2025.
