TWO PLAUSIBLE REASONS WHY A SOMALI REFEREE WAS DENIED ENTRY TO USA:
A) Allowing a person of a Somali descent to officiate a World Cup match in USA and on Americans watch would defeat Trump’s publicly stated narrative— which is now America’s narrative— that says ‘All Somali people are low IQ’. The fact that a Somali person would officiate a match in which USA National Team might be a party to, could not be stomached in the White House.Therefore, such a Somali person had to be denied entry.
B) Allowing a Black African who hails from a “sh*t-hole country” to shine in the middle of USA is also a no, no for America. It would defeat the widely held negative stereotype towards Africans in the USA.
