BREAKING: NBG State Liberation Council Members Allegedly Attack SPLM Officials at SPLM Secretariat

According to reports, five members of the Northern Bahr el Ghazal (NBG) State Liberation Council allegedly attacked the State SPLM Secretary-General, the Secretary for Political Affairs, and other officials at the SPLM secretariat.

Keribino Ugueec, the Secretary for Political Affairs, reportedly sustained a broken hand during the altercation, while State SPLM Secretary-General Thiep Tong allegedly received multiple punches.

BREAKING: Comedian Mr. Yai elected President of South Sudan comedians

Renowned South Sudanese comedian Mr. Yai has been elected as the first-ever President of South Sudan Comedians.

According to information obtained by Aweil News Agency, Mr. Yai emerged victorious after securing 32 votes, defeating his opponent, who received 19 votes.

The election, which brought together popular comedians, was held on Saturday at South Sudan Hotel in Buluk, Juba.

Mr. Yai is expected to lead the comedians’ association as its first president and oversee efforts to promote and develop the comedy industry in South Sudan.
