BREAKING: Col. Mike Mike Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum to Black Market Dollar Dealers
JUBA – Col. Mike Mike has issued a stern warning to black market dollar dealers operating across Juba, giving them a 72-hour ultimatum to lower the exchange rate or face severe consequences. Speaking on the matter, he expressed his concern over the rapid devaluation of the South Sudanese pound, blaming illegal forex traders for worsening the country’s economic crisis. He specifically targeted dealers in key areas such as Custom, Juba Town, Hai Cinema, shops, and petrol stations, urging them to adhere to the Central Bank’s exchange rate or risk facing security action.
The Colonel emphasized that these black market activities are causing more harm than good to ordinary citizens, making essential goods and services increasingly unaffordable. He accused the dealers of being economic saboteurs, warning that the government will take drastic measures to curb their operations. According to him, those found violating the directive will be dealt with harshly, as their actions are seen as a betrayal of the nation’s stability and progress.
In a shocking statement, Col. Mike Mike revealed his unique form of punishment for defiant forex traders—sending them to Nasir to fight against each other alongside the White Army. This remark has sparked mixed reactions among citizens, with some supporting the move as a necessary crackdown on illegal currency trade, while others question the implications of such a measure. As the ultimatum approaches its deadline, all eyes are on Juba’s black market traders to see whether they will comply or face the consequences.
