Warrap State Governor Amb. Bol Wek Agoth Returns Home After Medical Treatment Abroad

Warrap State Governor, Ambassador Bol Wek Agoth, has officially returned to the state after spending time abroad for medical treatment.

I am truly grateful for your love, trust, and the spirit of unity you continue to show.

‎I was not surprised by the outcome, as I now become the fourth person to be elected unopposed here in Juba in our different community organizations.
‎You have shown me the love, and I humbly accept it.
‎I now consider myself to be in debt, but through our collaborative efforts, I shall pay it back. Let us all come together and support our sports department for the benefit of all of us.

Today marks a major milestone for more than 44,000 Senior Four students across South Sudan as they begin their national examinations. In Twic County, candidates from St. Augustine, Lol River, R.M., St. Daniel, and Combine Secondary School are among those taking part.

The exams will run until December 9, 2025, across 510 centers nationwide.

To all candidates: stay calm, stay focused, and believe in your preparation. Wishing you success and a bright future ahead.

Warrap teachers raise alarm over armed security entering exam halls

This morning, teachers from different examination centres have raised serious concerns over what they described as a violation of examination protocols after security personnel reportedly entered examination halls while armed.

According to the teachers, the presence of security officers carrying guns inside the halls caused panic and fear among students who were in the middle of writing their examinations, affecting their concentration and performance.

Educators are now calling on the relevant authorities to urgently address the matter and ensure that examination standards, as well as students’ safety and peace of mind, are respected at all centres.

Juba, 30th November 2025 – Zackaria Chan Anguei has been unanimously elected as the new leader of the Akuar Athokbeek Sports Association, following an unopposed election held today at the Akuar Athokbeek Youth Center in Juba.

The absence of opposing candidates highlights the strong community confidence and widespread support for Mr. Chan Anguei’s leadership capabilities.

In his acceptance remarks, Chan Anguei expressed sincere gratitude to the association’s members for their trust and confidence. He outlined his commitment to advancing the organization’s mission, pledging to strengthen existing sports programs and actively work towards expanding youth participation across various athletic endeavors.
