Bilpam has more generals, fewer troops. Who will dare touch the “generals”? Some are even recruiting their untrained relatives, arming them as bodyguards.

Others are intimidating hoteliers for free lunch, borrowing from shops without paying, while illegally promoting and integrating their relatives into the SSPDF officer corps with little opposition.

The ministry of finance is worried that by the time salaries arrive, these “generals” will take all the cash to the detriment of the suffering soldiers guarding our borders.

It cannot be ignored anymore. The ministry of defence should prepare a list of officers to be retired by H.E. President Kiir, especially those who are past their retirement age, w**d out the irregularly promoted officers bloating the ranks and file of the SSPDF.

Furthermore, the interior and defence ministries should establish a distinction of ranks between the army and police. Too much confusion.

Lual Nyanut Names of travelers on the bus that got ambushed today on Juba-Nimule Highway unveiled

The names of passengers on the Babeto Bus, SSD 089Z, which was ambushed early Tuesday morning on the Juba-Nimule highway, have been revealed. The attack, which took place at Lakarakak between Nyerjebe and Kubi, resulted in several fatalities and numerous injuries as the bus was set ablaze by the assailants. The incident occurred on Sept. 24, 2024.

The bus was en route from Juba to Kampala, carrying 36 passengers. Several passengers fled into nearby bushes for safety, while others were caught in the violent attack. Authorities are still working to confirm the exact number of those killed or injured.

Local security forces are actively investigating the ambush, which highlights the ongoing insecurity along the vital highway connecting South Sudan’s capital with Uganda. Rescue efforts are underway, but the government has yet to release an official statement.

I am curious, where SSD government spokespersons, representatives on various fora and delegations to peace talks get their audacity from! What real situation analysis do they use? What history do they reflect upon? What visions of the future do they have, when they warn citizens against violent attempts to challenge them and their failed violent government, or when they accuse others of violence, even those who have never thrown a stone or pointed a stick at anyone, all in the face of state brutality and state-sponsored violence over the years?

Why is it that every time they hear someone is planning a protest they deploy tanks and armored vehicles on Juba streets, even against those who have requested for a permission to conduct a legally and constitutionally-protected protest? You deploy tanks to protect an openly hated government and you turn around and accuse others of violence? This is witchcraft! I don’t think too many suffering citizens this country have any respect for that, and it’s only a matter of time and coordination before many citizens will say enough is enough, قرفنا خلاص

News Updates: Details of What Led to the Death of Five People in Wau Emerge

The results from doctors indicate that the cause of death is suffocation as the victims were sleeping in a tent, with all the windows locked and the fire inside.

According to Garang Atomdit Mayar, a relative of the vitamins who were found dead Sunday morning, a white hen was also found dead in the tent, indicating that the lack of oxygen caused the death.

Garang also said concerning the suspicion of food poisoning, two vitamins didn't eat from the same house, a statement which dismisses suspected food poisoning.

“The result from medical doctors is that the cause of death is suffocation because when they were sleeping in a blue tent, they locked all the windows and lit the fire inside. Dead with the victims is also a white hen.

“Concerning the suspicion of poison, two of the victims: Deng Achuil Adut and Achuil Achuil Adut didn't eat from the same house because they came home late at 10 pm while having eaten in the other family house,” he narrated.

He also added, “Also the other family members who were sleeping in a different house and ate from the same plates with the victims are alive and well including myself who ate with my fallen uncle yesterday.”

The victims were identified as Nyok Ayok Nyok and Adut Ayok Nyok as adults and three children; Deng Achuil Adut Ayok aged 6, Achuil Achuil Adut Ayok aged 4, and Athok Ayok Adut Ayok aged 3.

Five family members found dead this morning in Wau - Bahr el Shierki.

In a devastating discovery, five individuals, including one man, one woman, and three children, were found dead earlier this morning inside a house in Bahr El Shirki. The shocking incident has left the community reeling, as authorities work to unravel the mystery behind the tragic deaths.

The exact cause of the death is not yet established and investigations by local authorities are underway.
All those victims are from Kuac Ayok.
