Police Captain Richard Ruai has been found guilty and sentenced to six months in prison.

Ruai was captured on video physically assaulting a civilian during a traffic incident in May this year. The footage quickly went viral, sparking widespread public outrage and prompting calls for his arrest and prosecution.
