The Ministry of General Education and Instruction has officially released the long-awaited results of the 2024 Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) examinations, sparking celebrations and relief across the country.
The exams, written from 2nd to 11th December 2024, saw 50,004 candidates registered, with 48,079 sitting from 535 academic schools. Out of these, 36,701 candidates (76.3%) passed, while 11,378 (23.7%) failed
The results show that Chemistry, Principles of Accounts, and Arabic Language were the most difficult subjects, while students excelled in Agriculture, Computer Science, Physics, Islamic Religion, English Literature, and Citizens Education.
