UPDATE: Invitation to Official Declaration of BCT Newly Secured Land

The BCT Management would like to invite the 23 County Presidents to attend the official declaration of the BCT’s newly secured land tomorrow along the Bahr el Ghazal Highway designated for the construction of BCT playground.

Officials and Members Invited:

1. The 23 County Presidents
2. Bahr el Ghazal Intellectuals
3. BCT Members

Venue: Bahr el Ghazal Highway, opposite New Bongo and next to the Bahr el Ghazal Highway Old Bridge.

Arrival: 9:00 am
Declaration time : 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM

➖The reinstatement of Cueibet was an appeal by Chol Mel himself and the Twic White family fans. Chol during the executive meeting, he stated in before all the 24 county’s presidents that, Cueibet would not be suspended because of Twic County, calling for forgiveness and reinstating of Cueibet back to BCT. BCT listened to him and reinstated Cueibet following his pleas, Majok Narrated.

Majok also stated that the case for arresting the culprits had been taken away from him by Charles Chol Mel after Chol had brought Thiik Thiik Mayardit to follow the case. Thiik who is following the case has presented the arrest warrant to Gen. Awet Akot and the culprits will be arrested anytime soon.

He added that he wondered what prompted Chol and Longar Magokdit and other groups to withdraw the team from BCT when they had involved Thiik to follow up the arrest of accused assailants because they don’t trust him (Majok).

Twic were supposed to give BCT a condition that they would not play their matches until the culprits are arrested instead of withdrawing, majok added.

Now that Twic has withdrawn, they have withdrawn the representatives like Longar Magokdit and myself Majok Ayar. What will keep me in BCT now is the leadership given to me as the president by the people of Bahr el Ghazal but according to constitution My county has withdrawn with all its members from BCT. I never expected this from my own people. To other counties of Bahr el Ghazal, let the issue of withdrawing stop with Twic. It’s not good. It prevents even players from playing for another county.”
