I’m proud to extend heartfelt congratulations to the Twic Mayardit players for their outstanding victory in the Warrap Peace Tournament, held on Saturday, 16th August 2025, in Juba, the vibrant state capital of South Sudan. Your dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship have brought pride and joy to our community.
This achievement would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the team administrators and management.
Your strategic leadership and commitment behind the scenes played a crucial role in guiding the team to triumph over Tonj North in a spirited final match. You have shown what unity and good governance can accomplish.
The tournament brought together teams from across Warrap State, including Twic, Tonj North, Tonj South, Tonj East, Gogrial West, and Gogrial East. It was more than just a competition. it was a celebration of peace, unity, and shared identity.
Initiated by the Warrap State communities residing in Juba, the Warrap Peace Tournament stands as a powerful symbol of our collective desire to foster peaceful coexistence among all citizens of Warrap.
Through sport, we are reminded that harmony and collaboration are not only possible, they are essential.
