𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐚, 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 --- President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday received a comprehensive report on the progress of the resumption of oil production and flow to the market.

The briefing was made by a government delegation led by Tut Gatluak Manime following their recent visit to Sudan, where they held talks with Sudanese authorities regarding the resumption of oil production and its flow to international markets via Port Sudan.

Gatluak highlighted the commitment from both South Sudanese and Sudanese leaders to ensure an uninterrupted oil flow, with Sudanese officials assuring adequate protection for the relevant facilities.

During their visit to Port Sudan, the delegation met with the Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al Burhan and consulted with oil sector experts on the readiness of the facilities.

The delegation comprised the Minister of Petroleum, Puot Kang Chol, and the Undersecretary, Dr. Chol Thon Deng, reflecting the oil resumption significance for both nations' economy and regional oil cooperation.

BREAKING: Paramount Chief and Three Head Chiefs Reinstated in Warrap State.

Paramount Chief Joseph Kuol Amet, along with three community head chiefs in Gogrial West County, Warrap State, have been reinstated to their positions.

These leaders were previously dismissed following disagreements with former Governor Kuol Muor Muor's administration. The other reinstated chiefs include Wol Mathuc Wol, Deng Ajiek Agoth, and Madol Aken Kuot.

Chief Amet learned about their reinstatement via Warrap State's radio station, 99.0 FM. Following this, they met with State Local Government Minister Dr. Mawien Atek to discuss the administrative matters related to their reinstatement and to present their official letters of reinstatement.

In a statement we saw on Radio Tamazuj page, Chief Amet mentioned that their positions were restored by the newly appointed Governor Francis Marial Abur. The unresolved issues concerning their previous dismissals will be managed through administrative channels.
