‎Episode 4: What I did to her while she's sick.

‎Before I go straight to what I did to her, let me take you back to how we lived and worked together in the shop. That day, Moniciah came to my workplace as usual. She asked me to train her on how to operate the computer, and I accepted. That was the moment she quickly accepted my proposal to date her.
‎
‎I showed her how to turn on the computer, play videos on the laptop, and use the remote control to play videos on the TV that was mounted on the wall for training students. After that, she started bringing her friends to show them what she had learned. She would open the computer and TV proudly just to boast about her new skills.
‎
‎Sometimes, she tried to play videos while looking away from the screen to make herself look like a computer guru just like me. I was fast in typing and could type without even looking at the keyboard, something that made her admire me even more.
‎
‎She loved only two types of videos Indian movies and love stories. She always said she was a church girl, so she skipped scenes with fighting and any part where people were caressing or kissing.
‎
‎We watched “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” three times. Sometimes she would play it and call me to watch with her while I massaged her hands. But that day was different she told me to touch her thigh. I froze because I didn’t expect that from her.
‎
‎“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” is a romantic movie about a shy high school girl named Lara Jean Covey who secretly writes love letters to all the boys she ever liked but never sends them. One day, the letters are accidentally delivered to all those boys, including her sister’s ex-boyfriend. Chaos begins, and her life changes completely as she pretends to date one boy, Peter Kavinsky, to cover up the truth only to end up falling in real love with him".

‎Lara J Covey often hung out with her elder sister even on her dates, she also took her to the movie that's where she saw people kissing and her elder sister holding hands tightly with her boyfriend, learning what love really felt like.

‎At the end of the movie, Jane went on a school trip that changed her life completely a part of the story that Moniciah don't liked to watch most because Lara J. Covey lost her V!rginity in that infamous trip and that is reason I want Moniciah to watch it.
‎
‎That day, she asked me to watch it again with her, but I refused, telling her we would only watch it if no one skipped any scene. She smiled and agreed.
‎
‎As we watched, I got distracted by my phone. I was always busy watching TikTok videos through Howdy VPN instead of paying attention to old movies. She took my phone away so that I could focus on the movie. I smiled, knowing she wanted my attention. I even told myself that one day, I would show her another movie that I usually showed to some girls but that will be in my next story, “The Woman That Supported My Hustle.”

‎We continued watching, and I could feel something strange within me. My body temperature rose; my heartbeat changed. She wore a short dress that left part of her thigh visible, and when she asked me to massage it, I didn’t know what was happening to me anymore.
‎
‎When the movie ended, it was evening. It was time to take her home. She was sick that day, and when we reached our usual spot behind Star Guest Hotel where the street was quiet and dark I I hugged her and told her goodbye. But she didn’t move.
‎
‎She stood near the fence close to her home. I went back and asked her why she wasn’t leaving. She said she was too sick and wanted me to take her home. I knew her mother wouldn’t like that, but she looked weak and tired.
‎
‎She leaned against the fence, and I looked around to make sure no one was coming. Then I held her cheek quickly and, before I could think twice, I kissed her lips. She pulled back and asked me in a soft but pained voice why I did that to her.
‎
‎I told her to go home, but she refused, still asking me why I kissed her while she was sick.
‎
‎The next morning, she sent me a message saying, “You don’t really care about me. Why did you kiss me while I was sick?”
‎
‎That message kept ringing in my mind the whole day, and I realized I had done something that even I couldn’t explain.
‎

Episode 3: THE HIDDEN LOVE IN WANYJOK

For weeks and months, our relationship went well — simple, quiet, and full of small moments that meant everything. Whenever she sat next to me, I would gently touch and massage her hands. She loved that. It made her smile in a way that could soften even the hardest heart. She always wanted to sit close to me, as if the distance between us could take away her peace.

But soon, my thoughts began to change. Though she truly loved me, and though everyone could see how close we were, I started questioning things. You see, Wanyjok Town is small — a place where everyone knows everyone. The moment you walk through the market with a girl, people start greeting you like an important guest. Within thirty minutes, your phone rings endlessly, as if your name has just been read on a presidential decree.

But no one says, “Congratulations, sir, on your new appointment at Nilepet,” or “Well done on your betting win.”
Instead, they whisper and ask, “Who was that girl walking with you today?”

Rumors travel faster than wind in this town. Before we knew it, everyone was saying I was dating her — something we both denied. My friend Bol Kabiir was the only one who knew the truth. He helped me hide it, covering the secret as a loyal brother would.

Then came the storm. Her parents and sister heard the rumors and started talking badly about me. That was the moment our secret relationship began to fall apart. I asked Moniciah why her parents didn’t want her in any relationship, but instead of explaining, she blamed me for letting the secret out.
Secondly she told me that it's because she rejected rich boys and finally fell for me. I was hurt. I frowned at the accusation, but she quickly calmed down and told me not to listen to her parents’ words.

Despite the tension, she continued to love me deeply. She told me I was her first love — the only man she ever dated. She even said she wouldn’t stop me from dating another girl, though deep down, I knew she only wanted me for herself.

At work, we spent whole days together — sharing hugs, laughter, and quiet moments of affection. But in my heart, something felt off. I began to wonder if she had accepted my love only because of my position — because I was training her in computer skills. That doubt began to poison my feelings. Slowly, I started treating her differently — coldly, unfairly.

She noticed.
She said it was my way of taking revenge because she had once rejected me.

Then one evening, she fell sick. But by that time, I had already stopped believing everything she said. My love had turned into a mask — fake, empty, emotionless. She begged for my smile, but I never gave it. She often asked,
"Why do you laugh with other girls but not with me?"
And I had no answer.

That night, as she faked her sickness, I didn’t know that I would know her inner secrets of which I didn't ask her till date.

SSPDF Issues Stern Orders — Immediate Compliance Required

• Red Belt Movement: All members are commanded to immediately join the SSPDF and hand over their weapons upon integration. Failure to comply will result in forceful disarmament.
• Armed youth in Greater Warrap: You have 21 days to surrender weapons to authorities. Those who fail to lay down arms will face a military operation.
• SPLA-IO members: Report at once to the nearest SSPDF barracks to participate in the second phase of transitional security implementation. Those who do not report will be treated as hostile forces.

These directives signal the army’s renewed resolve to protect citizens, enforce national security, and accelerate implementation of peace commitments. The window for non‑compliance is clear — and the consequences will be enforced.

Some secrets don’t live in the dark they breathe between two hearts afraid to be seen.

That night lasted longer than I expected.
After years of silent admiration, I finally called Monica mine my long-time crush, my quiet dream.
Her calm faith, her body built with grace, the way she prayed—it all made me curious to know how a church girl truly loves.

The next morning she texted me one word that made me laugh and ache at the same time:
“Bro.”

I asked, “Why still call me bro? Or is it part of our little secret the one we said even God shouldn’t find out?”

She replied, “Then what should I call you?”
I didn’t answer.

The next message came:

It wasn’t a sin; it was confusion painted as comfort.
And under that palm tree, two young souls promised a love too secret for the world to understand.
