The Bentiu Tv south Sudan is seeking dedicated and passionate volunteer reporters across the 16 counties of the Nuer community to serve as Naath Reporters.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Report and document community news, events, and development activities.

Promote peace, unity, and accurate information within the Nuer community.

Abide ethically by the national Media Law and uphold truth, fairness, and accountability.

Provide timely reports to the media coordination team.

Act as a bridge between the community and wider audiences.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years old and above.

Must speak Nuer, English, and Arabic/Kiswahili fluently.

Must own a smartphone or laptop for reporting.

Must have reliable internet access at all times.

Committed to work voluntarily for the good of the community.

Strong passion for journalism, storytelling, and community development.

UN releases demographic report for the first quarter of 2025.

There are 7.8 billion people on planet Earth.

- Women = 5.6 billion breaths
- men = 2.2 billion

So the UN advises women to be cautious in their attitude towards men, because out of 2.2 billion men:

- 1 billion married already
- 130 million in jail
- 70 million suffer from mental health problems and various illnesses.

That means there are only about 1 billion men available for marriage.

And who is this billion :

- 56% are unemployed
- 3% of them are gay
- 1% are Catholic priests.
- 10% are parents or close relatives
- 30% over 65 years old

So, ladies, married or single, treat men with respect.

There is a shortage of men all over the world pay attention! 😂😂

SSNB intercepts four trucks of insubstantial maize flour, sends them back to exporter

The South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) on Monday intercepted four trucks of poisonous Maize and sent them back to the country.

The products were intercepted at Nimule border where some traders attempted to import them to South Sudan.

According to the statement extended to the media, the Bureau remain committed to ensuring that South Sudanese are protected from dangerous product from the neighboring countries.

The intercepted maize flour consignment was found to contain dangerous high levels of aflatoxin that can cause cancer in human being.

The four trucks of maize flour were intercepted during a routine inspection at the Nimule port of entry, a key crossing point on the border with Uganda.
