Eng.Mamer Makuei Mamer elected D.C.Y.A Chairperson

Eng.Mamer Makuei Mamer has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Duk County Youth Association in Juba (D.C.Y.A) for the 2025–2027 term, following a competitive and highly participatory election.

Mamer, representing the 𝐃𝐮𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐃𝐘𝐃𝐀) camp, secured victory for his first time in the campaign for the Chairperson position, marking a significant milestone in his political and community leadership journey. His triumph is seen as a reward for persistence, grassroots engagement, and a strong campaign focused on youth empowerment and unity.

“This victory belongs to the young people of Duk County who believe in progress and inclusion,” Eng.Mamer told supporters shortly after results were announced.

The election witnessed high voter turnout across all payams of DukCounty, with observers praising the peaceful and transparent process.
