President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania should know that her country is not heaven in East Africa.

A response to her recent decision.

I have been waiting for the response from our country regarding the recent letter by the president of Tanzania that banned other citizens of East Africa from working in her country.
Since our government has not been able to respond to this mischief, I will at my capacity as Deputy Mayor of Juba City Council.

Diplomatic relations are for the benefit of the Countries and if one Country does not acknowledge this fact, the other one must take the serious decision in order to stand her ground.

A letter from H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan should have been responded by South Sudan's top leadership to clearly tells her that if she doesn't want our citizens to work in her Country, we should respond by doing the same thing to their citizens, simple and clear.

Her letter undermined the regional coexistence and must be met with same image. Which Country doesn't host each other's citizens in East Africa? Why is Tanzania acting like a King in the block? Tanzania should find other avenues to exercise their ego not with citizens' regional rights.

Our Ministry of Foreign affairs should not silence on matters that undermined our Country's sovereignty.
No Country should overlook other when it comes to matters of diplomacy.
There is no bargaining in disrespect.
We must stand our ground as citizens and leaders of South Sudan 🇸🇸.
