W.E.S GOVERNOR FUTUYO GIFTS CHURCH 4 MOTORBIKES AND 40 BICYCLES TO PARAMOUNT CHIEFS

The Governor of Western Equatoria State, Alfred Futuyo, has donated four motorcycles to the Catholic Diocese of Tombura in Yambio.
Futuyo made the donation after he visited the diocese headquarters on Wednesday.
In an interview with The City Review, State’s Press Secretary, Alex Didi, said the motorcycles were meant to support the activities of the church, particularly the newly ordained priests.
“Church leaders, especially in Western Equatoria State, whose residents sincerely desire everlasting peace, have a significant role to play in fostering peace among the communities.”
“The governor stated that, as a result, church leaders need to get help to make it easier for them to spread the message of God and foster peace among the people in the state,” Mr. Didi explained.
According to Didi, Governor Futuyo promised to extend his next support to the ECSS in Yambio to help their work.
The governor endorsed the constitutions of three churches—two from the Catholic Church and one from the ECS.
Futuyo reportedly urged the population to contribute what they have to further God’s mission.

The Governor of Western Equatoria State Hon. Lt. Gen. Alfred Futuyo Karaba on Wednesday also has handed over 40 Bicycles to the Four Paramount chiefs in the state.
Each Paramount Chief received 10 bicycles, and those are Yambio, Tambura, Ibba and Ezo.
According to Governor Futuyo the bicycles are going to the sub-chiefs on the grassroots for their mobilities, he said the rest of the six counties will soon receive theirs too.
The bicycles distributing was announced by the Governor some months back when he donated 20 Motorbikes to Chiefs and Education Directors in the ten Counties of Western Equatoria State.
