Youth for Christ South Sudan is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Tailoring full-time volunteer Member. This position is part of our effort to empower communities through practical skills training, especially among young people and women.
Minimum Requirements:
Christian Faith and Church Involvement
Must be a committed Christian.
Must be a regular churchgoer, actively involved in the life of their local church.
Must uphold and model Christian values in both personal and professional life.
Gender Inclusion
Women are strongly encouraged to apply, as part of our commitment to empowering women and girls through vocational training and mentorship.
Tailoring Skills and Experience
Practical experience in tailoring, dressmaking, or fashion design.
Ability to operate sewing machines and use common tailoring tools.
Skill in cutting, stitching, and finishing garments to a high standard.
Work Ethic and Character
Honest, reliable, and of good moral character.
Willing to learn, teach others, and work as part of a team.
Punctual, respectful, and committed to excellence.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with team members and trainees.
Willingness to support the holistic mission of Youth for Christ through both skill and spiritual mentoring.
Additional Assets (Not Required)
Previous experience in teaching tailoring or working with youth and women.
Involvement in community development or faith-based vocational training programs.
