# The Boy Who Never Came Home
In 2020, a young man named Daniel left his house on a bright Saturday morning. He was only 23 years old, full of dreams and determination. He promised his mother he would be back before evening. She smiled and reminded him to be careful.
But Daniel never returned.
When night came, his family became worried. Calls to his phone went unanswered. Friends had no idea where he was. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. The heartbreaking truth slowly emerged: Daniel had been kidnapped.
His family sold properties, borrowed money, and spent countless nights praying for his safe return. His mother visited churches, mosques, and prayer grounds. His father searched tirelessly, following every rumor and every lead. They never stopped believing that one day Daniel would walk through their front door again.
As the years passed, hope became mixed with pain. Birthdays came and went. Christmas celebrations felt empty. His younger siblings grew older without him. Yet his mother always kept his room exactly as he left it, refusing to give up.
Then, in 2026, six years after his disappearance, the unimaginable happened.
Authorities discovered human remains in a remote area during an investigation. DNA tests later confirmed the heartbreaking truth—it was Daniel.
The news shattered the family.
His mother collapsed when she heard the result. The son she waited for every day was never coming home alive. The father who had spent six years searching could only sit in silence, staring into space. The family's prayers for reunion had become prayers for strength.
At his funeral, hundreds gathered to mourn a young life stolen too soon. Friends remembered his laughter, kindness, and dreams. His mother placed a trembling hand on the coffin and whispered, "My son, I waited for you every day. I never stopped believing. If only I could see you one more time."
Tears flowed freely as the coffin was lowered into the ground.
