Five counties of Lakes State officially withdraw from the Lakes State Peace Tournament plus Yirol West that declared their withdrawal earlier making a total of 6 teams that are not out.

❌ Rumbek Central County
❌ Rumbek East County
❌ Awerial County
❌ Rumbek North County
❌ Cueibet County
❌ Yirol West County

Only Wulu and Yirol East are ready to participate in the tournament.

🚨OFFICIAL: Display of Pots for Lakes State Peace Tournament 2nd Edition Draws

The Lakes State Peace Tournament management is pleased to display the official pots for the 2nd edition draws, scheduled for Wednesday, 24th June 2026, at South Sudan Hotel.

All eight county chairpersons, head coaches, team captains, and Technical Committee delegates are cordially invited to attend.

The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Paul Awan, has purchased all the awards and prepared ahead of the quarter-finals for RUMYU Inter-Payam Peace Tournament 2nd edition 2026.

As the Chairperson will be travelling this week before the knockout stage begins, all necessary arrangements have been completed to ensure the smooth running of the tournament and the presentation of awards at the end of the tournament.

The group stages will officially conclude on 25 June 2026 with the match between Akot Payam and Jiir Payam, after which the tournament will proceed to the quarter-finals.
