LET LIFE TEACH THEM

You can tell a person to stop playing with fire, but they’ll need to get burned on their own to understand why you were warning them.

You cannot carry everyone’s weight on your shoulder. You will sink. You can try to teach someone something or make them see a point and they may just not get it until they go through life and learn the lesson individually.

People need to make mistakes and grow from them. People need to learn life's lessons through their own experiences.

So don’t worry about people who are stubborn and who are refusing to change their ways; life is one hell of a teacher. Life will make them go things that will transform and open their eyes.

Guide and help people when you can, but don’t let yourself down to prioritize their needs. Worry about yourself foremost. Protect your peace. It may sound selfish but everyone isn’t your assignment. Let life be their teacher.

THE MEANING OF I WILL THINK ABOUT IT. If a female says she'll think about it does it mean She'll decide? She wants time to ponder whether she likes you. PRIMARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMS TO START IN EARLY FEB 13-17th 2023

The national minister of General Education and Instruction on Wednesday announced that the 2022 Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) examinations will commence on Monday 13 February and conclude on Friday 17 February 2023.

Minister Awut Deng Acuil who was speaking during a press conference at the ministry’s headquarters in Juba also tasked security personnel to ensure the integrity of the exams.

“On behalf of the South Sudan National Examination Council and my own behalf, I take this opportunity to inform the candidates, parents, and all stakeholders that all processes of the 2022 Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) examination have been put in place and the examination administration dates have been fixed. The examination begins on Monday 13 February 2023 and ends by Friday 17 February 2023,” she said.
“Statistically, there a total of 60,714 candidates, 34,505 males and 26,209 females, have dully registered for the examination despite security challenges and flooding in most parts of the country.”

Minister Deng called on the teachers, invigilators, and security operatives to maintain the integrity of the exams.

“I would also like to draw special attention to the supervisors, invigilators, security, and police that the assessment of students and the integrity of the examination processes are of great significance to the South Sudan National Examination Council,” she cautioned. “You play a central role in helping the Council to ensure that security is maintained and examinations are concluded in an appropriate manner that allows the candidates to sit for the examinations in a suitable environment.”

An educationist is raising concern as the new South Sudan primary text books contain less information that requires much research by the primary school teachers. Carolyn Nyanjura, a great five teacher in Yei River County says, the complications in the new primary text books make it difficult for untrained teachers to cope up with the proffession. " first of all the old text books were good as they contained much information and less pictures but these ones now will spoil the learning criteria for the children". Carolyn urges the officials in the national ministry to put educationists to write text books not just decree or diploma holders in different fields. " I am urging the national ministry to call upon educationists to write books not just anyone else".

Over 50 children have received their baptism and 10 more taken their first Holy Communion earlier this morning Sunday 15 Aug.2021, at St. Daniel Comboni during the commemoration of the Assumption Day of Holy Virgin Mary mother of the Lord,. The mothers expressed happiness as their children receive baptism as a sign one joining Jesus Christ and to perform His duties. The main celebrant Rev. Father, Marcelo Zungu, the youth chaplain in the Catholic Diocese of Yei, urged all parents whose children received baptism to keep bringing them to the church as they have already joined Christ now and forever.

The director General of horticulture in Yei River County is called on the farmers to make up fire lines around the outer layer of their farmlands to prevent fire outbreaks or disasters in the dry season. The director stressed that the call targets those having coffee, mangoes, avocadoes, citruses among others. The National examinations council has announced last year's certificate of primary Leaving examinations results, with girls performing better than boys. General performance has improved by about 13 percent compared to 2019 and performance rate has increased from 87.7 percent to 89.9 percent. The best top ten learners were announced on Friday last week, by the deputy minister of General Education Mr. Martin Toko Moi. The best pupil is from Unity State a girl who scored 457 marks across the country.

South Sudan's president Kiir has been briefed by the information minister, Michael Makuei on Monday, in his capacity as a co-chair of South Sudan and Sudan. Makuei said South Sudan and Sudan Joint border commission are working to prepare a detailed description of the border line between the two countries. In his remarks on Monday afternoon, after the meeting, Makuei said Kiir directed him to continue with the negotiations to resolve the border issues between the two countries. He added that while he was in Khartoum, he also briefed the leadership of Sudan transitional sovereignty council on the progress of the joint border commission and they commanded them their efforts to resolve the border issues between the two countries.

The ECSS diocese of Yei has been enthroned or consecrated a new bishop, His lordship Levi Marandulu Yepete for the diocese of Yei by the Primate of the ECSS, His grace Justin Badi Arama. Speaking during the enthronement ceremony on Sunday today, the retired bishop Hilliary Luate says he expects a leadership of fighting tribalism, loving and uniting the various communities from the current bishop in Yei under the umbrella of ECSS. However Yei River County commissioner Agrey Cyrus welcomes the newly consecrated bishop to copy the leadership of the retired bishop, Hilliary Luate and urged him to work collaboratively with the government to put an end to conflicts. He has also called upon those killing innocent civilians to come and join peace or diolagues in order to reveal their greviences. For his part Justin Badi the primate urges the ECSS church to support the new bishop in his leadership as he starts his duties. The procession has been done and attended by thousands of people at the cathedral premises up to 5:00pm local time.
