What's terrorism or how to define the word terrorism?

"Terrorism can be defined as the calculated use of violence or the threat of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or idealogical in nature, this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling of fear".

The reason to why we had to define the word "terrorism " is for the government of South Sudan to know what it means.
Civilians resistance is never an act of terrorism and bombardment of civilians, women and children include is an act of terrorism from the government.

We would like to take this moment to congratulate the newly elected chairperson of Jagei Youth Association in South Sudan, Nyeluak Riak Let and her board members.

They have been entrusted by Jagei Youth to use their voices in benefit of all the youth and we have no doubt they will use it in the right manner.

Secondly, we would like to say hard luck to her companions, Nyaruot Gatdor Biel and her board members, and Chap Mayiel Puot. There's time for everyone to lead and there's no doubt their time will come to showcase your leadership skills.

The Unity State Legislative Assembly has summoned the State Minister of Finance and Planning, John Gatluak Doar, to account for the use of oil revenue and local taxes.

Lawmakers are demanding a full explanation on the five percent oil shares, local revenues, and personal income taxes intended for communities in the oil-producing state.

According to the Chairperson of the Information Committee, James Mawicyor Kai, the minister is expected to appear before the assembly on March 14.

Uganda has deployed special forces troops to South Sudan in a bid to protect the fragile government of President Salva Kiir as a tense rivalry with his deputy threatens a return to civil war. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni moved as a guarantor of the peace process that keeps Kiir and Machar together in a delicate government of national unity. The deployment of Ugandan troops to South Sudan underscores rising tensions in the oil-producing country that has been plagued by political instability and violence since it gained independence from Sudan in 2011. Kiir and Museveni are allies, and Museveni has in the past intervened in the South Sudan conflict to keep Kiir in power.

President Kiir made the appeal in a state of the Nation address on Friday.

In his address, President Kiir appealed to citizens across the country not to take the law into their own hands, reiterating his administration's commitment to ensuring that peace is maintained nationwide.

The Head of State further said the government is working to address the situation, in order for peace to prevail.

President Kiir reiterates his commitment to never returning the country to war, urging the population to uphold peacepeace and unity.
